Property Accessibility Statement
Brandt House is listed on the National Register of Historic Places under the National Historic Preservation Act (16 U.S.C. 470 et seq.) or is designated as historic under State or local law (§ 36.405 Alterations: Historic preservation.). Thus, we are not able to offer fully handicap-accessible accommodations since such alterations would destroy the historical significance of the property.
However, in order to assist any guests that require some accessibility assistance, please take note of the following:
We have one lower floor guest room that provides the following features:
- Low entry shower
- Lowered sink
- Space in the bathroom for a wheelchair
- Shower equipment that would allow a guest to sit in a shower chair, and we have a shower chair upon request.
In addition:
- We have a hearing impaired fire alarm on site.
- Guests will find 5 parking spots directly in front of the main entrance.
- In our bar space (open only some weekends) we have one restroom that is ADA compliant with space for a wheelchair and a lowered sink including grab bars.
