The 2025 Tulip Festival is set for Saturday, April 12 and Sunday, April 13, 2025 in Wamego, KS. The Tulip Festival is a longstanding tradition in Wamego, bringing people together for food, entertainment, and fun. Each year thousands of visitors descend upon our neighboring city to enjoy the vibrant colors of the tulips from Holland while simultaneously soaking up the arts and crafts fair, live entertainment, and connecting with community. The event takes place rain or shines, so check the forecast and bring your sunscreen and umbrella for a fun-filled weekend!

With 200 vendors in attendance, there is something for everyone at the Tulip Festival! This is a family event and includes face painting, bounce houses, a petting zoo and homemade ice cream. The art and craft vendors will setup in Wamego City Park, a beautiful and spacious green space in the heart of Wamego. Vendors range from Alma’s own, House Germaine fine fragrances to baked goods, pottery, engraving and so much more! This two-day event showcases the talents of so many vendors and opens the door to supporting small businesses.

While at the Tulip Festival, be sure to enjoy the live entertainment taking place throughout the weekend. On Saturday, things kick off at 10:00 am with the Wamego High Schol Treble Choir followed by the Heartland Harmonies, Flint Hills Ballet, a Jazz Trio, and wraps up with the 1st Infantry Division Band. Sundy brings a fresh group of performers including Flint Hills Fairies, The Dancin’ Stew, and The Grateful Dudes. Beer and Wine will be available for purchase thanks to the sponsorship of Pottawatomie County Economic Development.

Wamego is situated nine miles north of Alma and Brandt House in the Flint Hills. Make a stop in Wamego part of your weekend at Brandt House to explore the Tulip Festival and experience the beauty of thousands of tulips planted around the community.
