There’s a certain magic that happens when people come together for live music, especially on warm summer nights in a place rich with history. At 402 on Main, we’re honored to breathe new life into a space that has long been part of Alma’s story. What was once a cornerstone of our town is finding fresh rhythm as we launch our new live music patio series beneath twinkle lights and wide Kansas skies.
We recently kicked things off with an unforgettable performance by Will Gunselman, whose heartfelt lyrics and soulful voice echoed beautifully off the historic brick walls. The patio filled with live music, laughter, conversation, and the hum of the crowd sipping on cold drinks under the Kansas sun. It was the kind of night that reminded us why we’re doing this – to bring people together, to celebrate this beloved venue, and help it live on through music and community.
Brandt House has always been more than a place to stay. It’s a place to connect. These live music nights are just one more way we’re creating space for memories to be made – and we’re just getting started. We’ll be hosting talented regional musicians ranging from country covers to folk bands, each adding their own verse to the building’s living songbook. Expect surprise collaborations, sunset encores, and maybe event a spontaneous street-corner jam.
