Check-in is anytime after 4:00 pm
Brandt House is closed for cleaning until 4:00pm. You may check in anytime after 4:00pm. Check-in is quick and easy because you will have completed registration in advance. Brandt House utilizes some of the most efficient and high tech self-check in software on the market. Please understand we are a small boutique hotel and full time staffing is limited. We regret that we cannot accommodate early luggage drop-offs.
For arrivals before 4:00 pm – special accommodations can be made with advance notice and a fee of $50 to make your room a priority for the day. The earliest check-in that we can accommodate is 2:00pm. Please add this ‘extra’ when making your reservation. Early check-ins are based on availability and will be confirmed separately. Once confirmed, your early check-in fee is not refundable.
Check-out is by 10:00 am
To prepare for the next guests, check-out is by 10:00am. In most cases, with advanced notice and a $50 fee, a late check-out can be accommodated. Adding this ‘extra’ to your reservation allows you to check-out as late as 12:00pm. Once confirmed, your late check-out fee is not refundable.
Deposits
Effective January 1, 2025, a deposit equal to 50% of your reservation but no less than one (1) night is due at the time the reservation is made. For cancellation and refunds please reference our cancelation policy. Please make a reservation only if you are serious about your stay at the Brandt House.
In order to guarantee a reservation, the Brandt House requires a valid credit card that does not expire prior to the arrival date. By submitting your reservation you not only agree to accept and abide by the policies of the Brandt House but are also creating a legal binding contract.
Cancellations
Due to our small size, cancellations affect us significantly and leave us little change of rebooking a room. For this reason, we adhere to a strict cancellation policy. Any cancellation is subject to a $50 handling fee, per room. Your deposit will be refunded if we receive notification more than 21 days prior to your arrival. If for any reason you cancel your stay within 21 days, deposits are not refunded. Early departures, no shows, and cancellations less than 48 hours will be responsible for payment of the entire stay. If the change of a reservation requires a refund, there will be a $50 handling fee. If you move your reservation and it is within 21 days prior to your stay, there will be a $100 change fee added to your bill.

Third-Party Website Cancellations
If you made your reservation through a third-party website such as Booking.com, Expedia, HotelTonight, or Airbnb, etc., you are bound to the cancellation policies agreed to when booking on those websites. The cancellation policies on their website may differ from our standard cancellation policies when booking directly with The Brandt House. Any reservation made on a third-party website must be held to those website terms and canceled through the third-party website.
Children and Pets
Given the room sizes at Brandt House, rooms are furnished with one queen bed and accommodate two guests only. If you are traveling with children, please reach out to us by phone to discuss options as the hotel is not ideal for young children. Children are not permitted in rooms without the supervision of an adult (18 years or older). If an exception is made for children to stay, there is a $25 per night fee associated for each child. Please note we do not provide extra beds, bedding, cribs or rollaway furniture.
We love pets, but Brandt House does not offer pet accommodations. Certified service animals (meeting ADA requirements and not including emotional support animals) are allowed. Please notify us in advance if you will be visiting us with your service animal.
